The New Forest District Association (NFDA) is a part of the Camping and Caravanning Club. The UK is divided into 13 regions and our region, South West Region, is divided into District Association (DA) areas together with special interest groups. As a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club you are automatically a member of your local DA. You may camp with any DA or section within the club. There is a programme of camping meets from early March to the end of October. During the winter months rallies require pre booking. Walks, conservation meets and various social activities continue during the winter months.
Our Easter meet this year is at Ballard School, New Milton and we hope to have a full program of activities during the extended bank holiday break. These include 2 nights of professional entertainment and the usual Hot Cross Buns and get togethers.
Friday night we will be entertained by the Spencer Duo. Paul & Cheryl Spencer are a father and daughter vocal duo based in the Poole/Bournemouth area. They specialise in great entertainment covering music from the last six decades, including swing--rock--pop--jazz--classical and more. The music ranges from "rat pack swing" to modern rock, from diva style classical to pop charts, Motown, Soul, Ballads etc and music through the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, and the 2000's. In fact from Ray Charles "Georgia" to Kings of Leon" Sex on Fire--- to Queens "Bohemian Rhapsody"---Elvis "American Trilogy"-- to name but a few from Paul and from Cheryl, Dusty, Lulu, Sandie Shaw, Adele, Alicia Key's, Pixie Lott, Paolo Nutini, Katrina & the Waves, Martha Reeves,Tina Turner, Randy Crawford, The Beatles, Then there are " James Bond themes" --- through to Katherine Jenkins, Eva Cassidy and Shirley Bassey.-----"
On Saturday night we have The Headliners. They are one of the UK's leading party bands, providing world-class live music entertainment. They are proud to feature some of the country's top session musicians and singers, and have gained a reputation for their superb, energetic live performances. They have played for corporate clients such as Virgin Atlantic, Heineken and NATO, and the band have performed at top venues including The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and The National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.

Located on the western edge of the New Forest and is just a short walk or cycle ride from the open forest. The Avonside town of Fordingbridge is less than 2 miles away and has shops, Pubs and takeaways. The rally field is a level field with good access. Many attractions are within easy reach including historic houses and museums, water sports on lakes and at the coast, the historic city of Salisbury and its famous cathedral, as well as the stunning scenery that is the heart of the New Forest.

This site once was a sand pit, hence the name and the light sandy soil.
It is owned and operated by the Portsmouth Division of Girlguiding. It is just off the A334 north west of the village of Shedfield in Hampshire. The rally field is a level field within a tree lined area full of wild life. Many attractions are within easy reach including Marwell Zoo, Portsmouth Historic dockyard and Blue Reef aquarium in Southsea. There is limited space so its important to call to establish availability before travelling

Located in New Milton this private school is just a short walk to the town and is easily accessible from B3058. With tarmac roads around the school (a one‐way system operates) the field has short grass, bounded by trees and is level. It is ideally situated for exploring the delights of the New Forest, from which we take our D.A. name. The lovely coastal area, shops and cinema and theatre trips are also within easy reach. Shops, beaches, forest and local attractions are all close to hand.

Ideally located in the Purbecks the site is a short distance from the centre of Wareham. We have the use of one of the playing fields and so the camping field is flat and has easy access. The bus stop in town provides journeys to Corfe Castle, Swanage, Poole & Bournemouth. There are local shops within easy reach. There is a market each Saturday morning on the Quayside. Local attractions include Arne Peninsula RSPB, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Swanage steam railway, the chain ferry between Sandbanks & Studland.Price: £10.00 per unit night. This is the ideal location to visit the Bournemouth Airshow (31st Aug - 3rd September). The airport is a short distance away. Entrance to the site is tarmac surfaced and the field is sheltered and level and has well kept short grass. Walks from the site take you along the bank of the River Stour or, across adjacent fields, to the local shopping area. Several pubs and restaurants are within easy distance and an excellent fish and chip shop in the parade is always popular. Set in the grounds of a 4000 acre estate this large field has proved popular in recent years. The Elizabethan Manor House, Coutryside Museum and Tea Barn are open to the public. Easily accessible from A338. The field has some fantastic views over the countryside. It is ideally situated for exploring the delights of the New Forest. The Market towns of Ringwood & Salisbury with its shops and cinema are within easy reach. A bus service operates from the main A338 in both directions and is just 0.5 mile away.Price: £8.00 per unit night. Extra adults £3.00 per person
The site is an open rural family-run campsite for touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer-tents and tents, three miles drive from Wareham town, with direct access into Wareham Forest and centrally located in an ideal position for exploring Dorset and the Jurassic Coast. There are two toilet & shower blocks, shop, security barrier system, large separate games field, play area, paddling pool for the children & direct access into the forest for dog walks and general exploring! The THS is before our very popular Feast of Lanterns meet and there is a small period in-between.
